Supporting the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company

For the 18th consecutive year, we’re thrilled to host our community 5K road race—an event that has become a cherished tradition in our area. As the inaugural race in the Bucks 5K Series, the Blaze of Glory 5K aims to support the dedicated volunteers of the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company.

Supporting Our Local Heroes: All proceeds from the race directly benefit the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company. These brave volunteers have faithfully served our community for an impressive 94 years. Covering parts of both Plumstead and Bedminster Townships, they respond to approximately 325 emergency calls annually—ranging from house fires to auto accidents, rescues, brush fires, and more.

• Safety Gear: Outfitting a single firefighter with essential safety equipment costs over $5,500.00.
• Air Packs: An additional expense of $8,500.00 per air pack ensures their safety during critical moments.
• Fire Truck Replacement: The cost to replace a fire truck falls between $650,000 and $800,000.

The Bucks 5K Series is a series of seven Bucks County races supporting various local charities and organizations. By registering for the entire series, you can get some exclusive benefits:
