Road Closures

Notice for Blaze of Glory 5K Event

Dear Plumstead Resident(s):

Road closures can be expected on Saturday, March 21, 2026, for the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company’s 19th Blaze of Glory 5K Race. This race and walk is the fire company’s largest fundraiser and draws a huge crowd from our community and surrounding areas.

  • Meeting House Road between Stump Road to Hancock Lane (7:30 am to 12:00 pm)
  • Meetinghouse Road between Hancock Lane and Craigs View Road (8:15 am to 11:30 pm)
  • Meeting House Road between Craigs View Road to Curly Hill Road (8:45 to 11:30 am)
  • Curly Hill Road between Haverhill Road to Old Easton Road (8:45 am to 11:30 am)

Our Plumsteadville Fire Police will be out along the Blaze of Glory 5K course, helping guide traffic and keep everyone safe. Roads will be temporarily closed while runners and walkers are on the course and will reopen once they pass. Access from Meetinghouse Road south to Curly Hill Road will remain open until the race begins. Safety is our top priority!

Join us for this spirited community event! Lace-up those sneakers, embrace the camaraderie, and revel in the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire House festivities. Every step you take supports the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company. Let’s make this 5K blaze with glory!

We thank you for your patience, cooperation, and support.

Best Wishes,
BOG5K Committee & Staff
